Donahue Brothers

Donahue Brothers was established in 1919 and has services the Merrimack Valley for over 92 years.  Donahue Brothers is a coffee and foodservice distributor.  It is still run by the Donahue Family. 

Essex County Community Foundation

ECCF was established in January of 1999 to increase local philanthropy and provide support to non-profit organizations located in and serving the Essex County.  The Foundation offers the philanthropic, grant making, financial, and tax expertise needed to engage in effective, inspired charitable giving.  ECCF stewards more than 100 charitable funds held over $16 million in assets, and since its inception has awarded over $11 million in grants to local organizations.  The Foundation's mission is "to promote local philanthropy to strengthen the charities that improve the quality of life for Essex County's 742,000 residents."  Bread and Roses has been one of the local non-profit organizations that have been support by the ECCF and its family of funders.

Green Mountain Coffee motto is "Brewing a better world".  Being that Coffee is the number 1 beverage served at  Bread and Roses we are most appreciative to Green Mountain Coffee's donation of their coffee products.

Laschi's Garden Center, Methuen 

Family owned and operated since 1980, Laschi's supplies fresh produce and dairy products to Bread & Roses.  Their six-acre garden center on the Methuen/Salem N.H. line is worth your visit.

Merrimack College, North Andover

Volunteers from the college's sororities and support from the campus ministries mean a great deal to Bread & Roses.  Their food drives are very successful in replenishing our food pantry.

Nason Stone House Farm, Boxford

Make Nason Stone House Farm on Route 133 the destination of your weekend drive for baked goods, breads, and their famous "homemade" baked beans and chicken dishes.  Open Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.

Occupational Health Connections

Occupational Health Connections (OHC) is a leader in staffing and recruitment of occupational and employee health nurses and nurse practitioners.

OHC and the nurses they work with are proud to help Bread and Roses provide the warm meals along with all of the other community services.  OHC is a ongoing contributor to Bread and Roses both with monetary and In-Kind donations.

Paisley Farm & Greenhouse, Boxford

Find out what  "local flavor" means when you try fresh produce, eggs, honey and pastries from Paisley Farm.  Paisley Farm generously donates fresh produce and pastries to Bread & Roses, so we know.

Phillips Academy

Phillips Academy donates books for our patron library and sponsors volunteers for the Student Community Program.  They also host an annual picnic for the guests and staff of Bread and Roses, which is always a great time. Thank you for sponsoring their many concerts and events.

Richardson's Ice Cream

Our patrons have been enjoying their delicious products for years.You can support them by visiting their Middleton, MA ice cream stand or by purchasing their products at quality stores carrying Richardson Ice Cream products.

Saint Michael Church & Saint Vincent De Paul, Andover

Through the good work of Saint Michael Parish on Main Street, Bread & Roses has benefited from Saint Vincent De Paul donations of food products, non-perishables, clothing, furniture, ect. - many items that our guests need to support their everyday existence.

Saint Theresa's of Lisieux, North Reading

Volunteers from St. Theresa's consistently fulfill a wide variety of our needs at Bread and Roses.  They deliver items ranging from baby food and toys to winter gloves and jackets, all of which are greatly appreciated. 

Smolak Farms, North Andover

Bread and Roses benefits from the fresh produce, pastries and "homemade cider dough-nuts" from this 300 - year-old New England Farm.  Enjoy their Family Farm experience, complete with orchards, berry fields and family activities, on South Bradford Street.

Sodexo Food Service

Being a responsible corporate citizen is at the core of Sodexo's business, and it carries over to their donations of food and meals to the Bread & Roses food pantry and soup Kitchen.  Local companies and schools use their integrated food and facilities management services.

Starbucks, Andover

Known for more than coffee, Starbucks in Andover donates delicious pastries to Bread & Roses.  From the neighborhoods where their stores are located to the ones where their coffee is grown - Starbucks believes in being involved in the communities they are part of - and we are glad they chose to be involved with Bread & Roses.

The Stop & Shop in North Andover, MA has been involved with the Bread & Roses network through three area churches.Thank you for shopping here and supporting a partner of Bread & Roses.

University of Massachusetts, Lowell

Campus sororities have stepped forward to volunteer in the kitchen serving guests and running food drives to fulfill their community service commitments.  We are glad they chose Bread & Roses - Their can-do attitudes are always welcome.

Whole Foods, Andover

Count on fresh produce, baked goods and pastries from Whole Foods to be wholesome.  Our Soup Kitchen receives regular donations from the Main Street store, which carries organic and healthful food and personal care items.
