Our Services
| Bread & Roses' primary purpose is to ease the hunger of people in the
Greater Lawrence area. Bread & Roses serves a full course, nutritious dinner
every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 5:00 PM until 7:30 PM.
Anyone who is hungry or in need is welcome. There are no questions asked, no forms
to fill out and no charge for the food. An average of 200 meals are served to
homeless or needy families and individuals each evening. In addition, our staff and
volunteers provide advocacy and make referrals to other human service organizations as
needs arise.
Our first floor houses two dining rooms and an open kitchen where approximately 200
meals are served each evening.
The second floor children's room with its beautiful floor-to-celings hand-painted
murals, is an oasis for the many children who come to Bread & Roses for dinner with
their families.
